We offer two primary apprentice programmes one is a Higher apprenticeships in mineral products is Craft apprenticeships, they differ in terms of their focus and the industries they prepare individuals for.
Apprenticeships are typically target trades and professions that require specialised manual skills, such as Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering. These programs emphasise hands-on training, and apprentices often work alongside experienced craftsmen to develop their practical skills.
On the other hand, Higher apprenticeships are tailored to industries related to mining, extraction, and processing of minerals like sand, gravel, and stone. These programs may involve operating heavy machinery, understanding geological processes, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of mineral-based products.
While both types of apprenticeships aim to provide valuable skills and knowledge, they cater to distinct sectors and career paths, with craft apprenticeships focusing on skilled trades and mineral product apprenticeships centered around the mineral extraction and processing industry.
